La saison des piments est en plein essor. Et, Tucson me manque. Trois bonnes raisons qui m&rsquo;ont pouss\u00e9es hier \u00e0 faire une salsa mexicaine et des tortilla chips. \u00c0 vrai dire, l&rsquo;id\u00e9e me tentait depuis quelques jours d\u00e9j\u00e0. Mes plants de serrano et de habanero ont fructifi\u00e9 et leurs fruits ne cessent de me donner envie. De ce fait, j&rsquo;ai voulu en faire quelque chose de bon sans pour autant cacher leur fraicheur; parce que&#8230; qui peut croquer des piments forts tout crus? Personne j&rsquo;imagine. Ou du moins, pas moi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apr\u00e8s les tacos, cette fois-ci, je vous emm\u00e8ne au mexique \u00e0 travers cette recette de salsa piquante pico de gallo avec ma touche personnelle et des tortilla chips. Pico de galo est une salsa cruda mexicaine, ou sauce crue, compos\u00e9e d&rsquo;ingr\u00e9dients frais coup\u00e9s en petit morceaux, \u00e0 savoir, de la tomate, des piments, de l&rsquo;oignon, de la coriandre et du jus de citron. Celle-ci se mange avec des chips de tortilla ou en garniture sur des tacos, fajitas, burritos,&#8230;etc. C&rsquo;est une tuerie pour les amateurs de spicy food mais aussi pour les autres! En fait vous pouvez jouer sur le cot\u00e9 piquant en modifiant la quantit\u00e9 des piments \u00e0 aller dedans mais \u00e0 mon avis, une salsa non piquante ce n&rsquo;est pas une salsa, car moi, j&rsquo;aime la mienne bien piquante! C&rsquo;est pour cela d&rsquo;ailleurs que j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d&rsquo;en faire avec des habaneros.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Connaissez vous les piments habaneros ? C&rsquo;est une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de piment de couleur orange class\u00e9e parmi les 10 piments les plus forts du monde, sachant qu&rsquo;il existe entre 2000 et 3000 cultivars de piments. Personnellement, je trouve qu&rsquo;ils ont\u00a0un go\u00fbt assez sp\u00e9cial et unique \u00e0 eux. Je ne saurais le d\u00e9crire mais vous penserez \u00e0 moi quand vous aurez la chance d&rsquo;en go\u00fbter ou au moins de sentir leur parfum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ma version de la salsa pico de galo est \u00e9galement inspir\u00e9e par une salsa de la chaine de supermarch\u00e9 pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e des americains, Trader Joe&rsquo;s. Je l&rsquo;avais gout\u00e9e lors de l&rsquo;anniversire d&rsquo;un ami et j&rsquo;en ai raffol\u00e9e. C&rsquo;\u00e9tait une salsa piquante et sucr\u00e9e \u00e0 la fois compos\u00e9e de piments, d&rsquo;oignons et de ma\u00efs doux. Et comme je suis une grande amatrice du go\u00fbt fum\u00e9 de la tomate fire roasted, j&rsquo;ai decid\u00e9 de griller ma tomate sur le feu sans pour autant la cuire compl\u00e9tement. Comme r\u00e9sultat, j&rsquo;ai eu une salsa pico de galo l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sucr\u00e9e mais assez piquante, fra\u00eeche et savoureuse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> Si vous n&rsquo;avez pas de habaneros \u00e0 votre disposition, ne vous inqui\u00e9tez pas. Vous pouvez les remplacer dans cette recette par des piments forts frais de votre choix.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Note 2:<\/strong>\u00a0Attention, je peux vous promettre une chose, m\u00eame si vous ne supportez pas le piquant, vous n&rsquo;allez pas vouloir arr\u00eater d&rsquo;en manger.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1310\" src=\"https:\/\/numidyum.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/08\/img_3744.jpg?resize=900%2C695\" alt=\"IMG_3744\" width=\"900\" height=\"695\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1309\" src=\"https:\/\/numidyum.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/08\/img_3743.jpg?resize=900%2C597\" alt=\"IMG_3743\" width=\"900\" height=\"597\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1307\" src=\"https:\/\/numidyum.files.wordpress.com\/2018\/08\/img_3746.jpg?resize=900%2C597\" alt=\"IMG_3746\" width=\"900\" height=\"597\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Ingr\u00e9dients:<\/h3>\n<p>Pour les chips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Des galettes tortillas, <a href=\"https:\/\/numidyum.com\/2018\/08\/21\/tacos-aux-legumes-barbecue-tortillas-et-guac\/\">recette par ici.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2 c.\u00e0.s d&rsquo;huile (optionnel)<\/li>\n<li>Du sel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour la salsa:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Une grosse tomate,<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 oignon,<\/li>\n<li>1 ou 2 habanero selon votre tol\u00e9rance ou autre piment fort,<\/li>\n<li>1 serrano (optionnel),<\/li>\n<li>Le jus d&rsquo;un citron,<\/li>\n<li>2 petites gousses d&rsquo;ail, ou une grosse,<\/li>\n<li>Une demi botte de coriandre,<\/li>\n<li>1 c.\u00e0.c. de sucre<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0c.\u00e0.s. de ma\u00efs doux<\/li>\n<li>du sel et du poivre selon votre go\u00fbt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions:<\/h3>\n<p>Les chips de tortillas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>D\u00e9coupez vos tortillas en morceaux de la tailles et formes que vous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez,<\/li>\n<li>Badigeonnez les morceaux de tortillas avec de l&rsquo;huile \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un pinceau de cuisine. Pour faire plus healthy, \u00e9vitez cette \u00e9tape. Ne vous inqui\u00e9tez pas, vous aurez des chips tout aussi croustillantes,<\/li>\n<li>Optionnel: Salez les morceaux de tortillas et mettez les au four pr\u00e9alablement pr\u00e9chauff\u00e9 \u00e0 180*c pendant 10 \u00e0 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>La salsa:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Grillez l\u00e9g\u00e8rement votre tomate sur feu direct, en sorte \u00e0 ce que vous br\u00fblez la peau sans cuire l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de la tomate, d\u00e9barassez-vous de la peau brul\u00e9e et coupez votre tomate en petits d\u00e8s,<\/li>\n<li>Coupez l&rsquo;oignon et les piments en petits d\u00e8s \u00e9galement et ajoutez-les \u00e0 la tomate,<\/li>\n<li>Rapez l&rsquo;ail et coupez la coriandre avant de les ajouter aux autres ingr\u00e9dients,<\/li>\n<li>Ajoutez le jus de citron, le sucre, le ma\u00efs, le sel et le poivre<\/li>\n<li>M\u00e9langez \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une cuill\u00e8re et voil\u00e0 votre salsa est pr\u00eate !<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J&rsquo;adore le piquant.
